Braves Game

Postby Derek » Sun May 03, 2009 9:34 pm

I got to go to the Braves game today and watch them lose to the Astros. I don't know why Bobby Cox is still around, he should have done like Seinfeld and left while on top.

But I got some good pictures, feel free to check them out. And yes, I spent most of the game looking at the girl in the black skirt. 8)

And Spence, there's one in there for you. Eric, do not deface my site because of the pic.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I too am a suffering Braves fan...but more of a backseat fan over the last 3 to 4 years, I don't watch much.

I always really liked Bobby...but not in the Play-Offs. He is a great regular season manager. I think too many guys "Manage" too much, micro-manage in a sense. But in the POs everything changes...which is what I hate about baseball...you have to manage much more.

I do think 3 or 4 years he really tried to manage more and the Braves had there better finishes. Similarly I thought his best asset was that he had good players he just let play. Now without 5 or 6 All-Stars you also have to manage more...Bobby (IMO) just doesn't do that.
