Daylight Savings Time

Postby Spence » Sun Apr 02, 2006 2:18 am

Don't forget to set your clocks ahead. No one wants to be an hour early for work.

I'm not a big fan of giving up the hour, but it does give you one more hour of golf time so it isn't that bad.

I don't particularly care for waking up and not seeing a sun, as I did this morning.

But hey, I guess I can't complain, because I love it in the summer when it's still light out at 830pm.

And in the winter I do like it when it gets dark early.

I think when it first switches over it sucks, but it gets better as the hours even out a bit more.

You won't believe what happened. When we went to church today, there were no greeters at the door, nobody was outside, and the parking lot was full. I thought maybe it was an early service, but turns out I forgot to set my clock.

I like daylight savings time, but the actual day we change I hate. I only get a few hours of sleep anyway and losing that hour makes me cranky.

They really should do it on a Saturday so we at least have the weekend to accept the changes.

Exactly!!!!

I set all my clocks, EXCEPT, for my alarm clock.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Agreed. It would be a lot better on Saturday. Actually, I think if they did it around 10:00 AM on Friday it would be best.

We can keep the fall change the same.

4pm on Friday.

Boss: "Peterson, I need you to take these forms down to accounting."

Peterson: "Actually, Sir, I was just on my way home."

Boss: "But it's only 3:59pm!"

Peterson: ".... three two one. And now it's 5pm! See ya."

Awesome.

You could get an hour of OT that way.

It's been a while since I had a job that actually paid OT, but I always took it when I could get it.

SUCKAS!!!!

All that changed for me, is now I'm on Pacific Time instead of mountain time.

In Arizona, we don't need no stinkin' Daylight Savings time.
