Bush-Bashing

Okay, I don't care if people have opposing views, they have a right to. But my question is, why can't Dems stay off of the "Bush lied/murdered/draft dodged/knew about Katrina and-or 9-11/insert anything that could potentially damage a person's reputation"?

I'm really getting tired of it. At least you can hope that things go well for the guy.

One other note, I know CBS Polls are predicting that the Democrats will take back the house in 06, but do you think people will vote Democrat in 06?

I think our next president will be a Dem. I really wish it would be different, but there's just so much hate for Bush out there.

I live in the infamous "I-4 Corridor" that's so important in Florida. All the counties voted Republican last election, but I don't think it'll happen this time around. Everyone I talk to is against Bush.

Why? The exact reasons you state, Eric. Everyone is blaming Bush for things that are completely ridiculous.

People buy into conspiracy theories way too much now-a-days.

There's a lot of time left from now until November, hopefully people will use their senses!

The whole Katrina thing is annoying me too. That's not the federal government's problem, that's Nagin's and Blanco's problem first. The sad thing was Nagin admitted that he didn't know about the levee situation, shows you how well he's doing his job! lol

That's what Nagin and Brown are doing, they first came with the idea that "uh-oh, we're in some big trouble", but then the finger-pointing came to Bush so they're like, "uh...oh yeah, he did it! It's his fault! I'm not trying to cover my butt or anything!"

Everything has become way too political. The dems aren't about what's good for the country. They're only interested in winning elections and Bush-bashing is the only thing they bring to the table. When it comes to offering any solutions or alternatives, they don't have any. This will keep them out of the White House, I hope, if the Republicans can put forth any kind of a good candidate. I like former governor George Allen from Virginia a lot. Rudy Guilliani would be an interesting candidate but the politics of very conservative republicans would keep him from winning the nomination. Will have to wait and see what viable candidates evolve. But I hope and pray the democrats don't get back in the white house or take control of the Senate or House. It would be disastrous for us as a nation to let what has become a leftist socialist ideology run our country.

I disagree. I dont believe or pay attention to the polls, that show Bush being so weak....Are these the same polls that said Kerry was going to win in a landslide the morning of Nov 2nd??

They are biased and phrased to get a certain response...TOTALLY WORTHLESS. They do NOT correctly represent the public opinion.

You can always tell when they are trying to influence public opinion, by the number of polls they put out, and each one will show Bush's support dropping.

We will not see a Dem president until '12...IMO.

Hopefully we won't see one ever again! lol

But you're right, nobody should put too much stock in poll numbers. You should take a look at the people who were polled in that CBS poll that has Bush a 34%. I think Republicans are misrepresented and they had more Dems and equal amount of swing voters. So you get all of the Dems and half of the independents, and no wonder he's at 34%!
