I was in Phoenix last march. No grey in Phoenix for sure. If you go and take the golf clubs, make sure you play Stonecreek and the Raven. If you don't take your clubs they rent Titleist. Both fun courses with fast greens..........and then there is the baseball.

You're making me jealous

We've got gray skies and some rain. It's an abnormal 40 degrees with still a bunch of snow on the ground. I feel like I can go outside in shorts and a t-shirt 8)

I've been to Scotsdale once on vacation and I really like Arizona. Southern Cal was nice too.

Regarding baseball, the Tigers have been pretty active in making some headscratching moves. I don't think they're terrible moves and I like two of the players that they added, but losing Fielder and Fister to gain those guys is a step back, although Fielder might have been a dugout cancer. The guys they did add are not typical of Dave Dombrowski moves. I think the AL Central will be wide open this year, including the White Sox and the Twins.

I think stonecreek was close to Scottsdale. I liked it too. I was only there four days, I would like to go back when I had time to check it all out. I did get to meet Mike Devereaux at a sports bar in Phoenix. I was talking to him and saw the big world series ring. It was pretty cool.

FSU is selling tickets to its upcoming (Feb. 25) exhibition game with the Yankees at Steinbrenner Field Tampa....

I might make it down...
