Ohio-Robert Morris

Postby BYUfan1 » Tue Jan 03, 2012 5:11 am

The Ohio Bobcats had a chance to go 13-1 for the first time in school history but fell at home to the Robert Morris Colonials 70-67. The Bobcats struggled shooting the basketball all night long as they only shot 35.3% (24-68) from the field, including 3-of-26 from beyond the arc. The Colonials committed 31 turnovers, but the Bobcats only had a 24-10 advantage in points off turnovers. Robert Morris outrebounded Ohio 43-29 despite being the smaller team. D.J. Cooper missed a 3-pointer as time expired to end the game. Reggie Keely came off the bench to get 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. Robert Morris was led by their backcourt as Velton Jones registered 17 points and 6 assists while Corn Williams had 14 points and 8 boards.
