Poor shooting led to the Pacific Tigers losing their first game at home this season 55-47 to the Fresno State Bulldogs. Junior Markus Duran opened the game for the Tigers with a 3-pointer, but Pacific went on to miss their next eleven from long distance. The Tigers shot just 35.8% from the field, including 3-of-17 from beyond the arc. Colin Beatty did achieve his first career double-double for Pacific with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers didn't help matters by only making 6 of their 15 free throw attempts. That number included center Khalil Kelley missing all 6 of his attempts. The Tigers are now 4-7 on the season.
Fresno State shot 37.5% from the field as they improved to 6-8 on the season. The Bulldogs were led by Jonathan Wills who scored 12 points on the night. Tyler Johnson chipped in with 10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks for Fresno State.
