Loyola-Marymount-Harvard

Postby BYUfan1 » Sun Nov 20, 2011 2:32 am

For half of the first half, it looked like it was just a bunch of hype that Harvard had a good team, but the Crimson went on a 25-5 run and went on to beat the Loyola-Marymount Lions 77-67. At one point in the first half, Harvard was down 25-12 and ended up with a halftime lead of 37-33. Laurent Rivard came off the bench for Harvard to score 20 points, including 5-of-8 from long distance. Keith Wright chipped in with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Fellow forward Kyle Casey had 14 points and 6 boards. The Crimson shot 51% percent for the game and out-rebounded the Lions 41-23. Anthony Ireland of LMU was the leading scorer in the game with 26 points. He also dished out 5 assists in the losing effort.
