Redshirt junior Antwaine Wiggins set a career high by scoring 24 points. The Cougars entered the game 10th in the nation in shooting percentage and shot 49.2% from the floor in the game. The College of Charleston is now 11-0 all-time against Samford. The Bulldogs were led in scoring by Jeffrey Merritt with 14 points. With the victory, the Cougars won the regular season Southern Conference title for the first time since 1999 and clinched at least an NIT bid.
