The Maine Black Bears are picking the wrong time to begin hibernation. Not long ago, Maine had control of the regular season portion of the America East. However, with Maine losing three games in a row, Vermont is in first place now, with Maine and Boston University in second place with 8-4 records. This time around, Maine lost to Hartford 74-65. Hartford's Joe Zeglinski scored 33 points and recorded 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Zeglinski made 7 of his 14 three-point attempts, which was two more makes than the entire Black Bear team. Gerald McLemore had 18 points for Maine. The Hartford Hawks are now 8-16 and 5-6 in the America East.
