Samford-Davidson

Postby BYUfan1 » Fri Feb 04, 2011 4:55 am

Three-point shooting was the major factor in Davidson's defeat of the Samford Bulldogs 62-49. The Wildcats made 12 3-pointers in the game while Samford was just 2 of 17 from long distance. Brendan McKillop made four 3-pointers in the first half for Davidson and finished with 12 points in the game. JP Kuhlman scored a game-high 15 points. In a losing effort, Gregg Wooten and Josh Davis each had 10 points for the Bulldogs. Davidson is now 11-12 overall and 5-7 in the Southern Conference. Samford drops to 11-12 and 3-8 in the conference.
