Old Dominion-Delaware

Old Dominion squandered a 10-point halftime lead but rallied back to defeat the Delaware Blue Hens 67-59. Delaware took its first lead with 12 minutes remaining in the game and actually led by as many as six. The Monarchs were able to get the lead back when Kent Bazemore scored 13 straight points. Bazemore finished the game with 20 points, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Frank Hassell recorded his eighth double-double by accumulating 14 points and 11 rebounds. Delaware was led gy freshman point guard Devon Saddler who had 19 points.

ODU is in third place in the CAA with a 9-3 record and is 18-5. Delaware is in sixth place with a 6-6 record and fell to 11-11 overall. VCU had a surprising defeat 91-80 against Northeastern Wednesday and is now tied with George Mason at 10-2 for the top spot in the CAA. ODU's next game is at George Mason.
