Davidson parlayed hot shooting and strong inside play into a 73-66 victory at Georgia Southern. The Davidson Wildcats shot 54% from the field while the Eagles shot 46%. Davidson outscored Georgia Southern in points in the paint 30-18. JP Kuhlman made 11 free throws on his way to scoring 20 points on the night. De'mon Brooks added 13 points for the Wildcats. Both Ben Drayton III and Jelani Hewitt scored 14 points for the Eagles. The victory on Monday night marked the ninth straight time Davidson has defeated Georgia Southern. Davidson is now 10-12 and 4-7 in conference play while the Eagles drop to 4-19 and 0-10 inside the conference.
