The Loyola, Maryland Greyhounds won their game in a row and fifth in six games after posting a 62-50 win over the Manhattan Jaspers. The Greyhounds won both meetings between the two schools. The Greyhounds received a major boost from the bench as J'hared Hall had 12 points and Justin Drummond scored 11 points. Although the Jaspers had more points in the paint, 38 to 24, the Jaspers shot just 38.6 from the field, while the Greyhounds shot 42.9% and were 5-of-11 from 3-point range. George Beamon had 14 points in a losing effort for Manhattan. The Jaspers fall to 1-7 in conference play and 3-16 overall. Loyola continues to be a factor in MAAC as the team moves to 5-3 in the conference and 9-9 overall.
