Temple-Duquesne

Postby BYUfan1 » Sat Jan 15, 2011 4:59 pm

Duquesne ruined the suspense of what was suppose to be a great game between two Pennsylvania schools by starting the game on a 19-to-1 and going on to beat Temple 78-66. The Owls shot 17% from the field in the first half and just 30.9% for the game. Temple made just 6 of 24 3-pointers. The full-court pressure the Dukes put on the Owls kept Temple from utilizing their size as they quickly switched to a small lineup after several turnovers. Bill clark led Duquesne with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Damain Saunders had 10 points and 9 rebounds for the Dukes. Ramone Moore had 18 points for Temple, but most of those came when the game was already decided.
