UIC-Northern Illinois

Postby BYUfan1 » Tue Dec 14, 2010 11:49 pm

Senior Xavier Silas set a career high with 40 points as Northern Illinois overcame a slow start and defeated Illinois-Chicago 80-78. Northern Illinois trailed at the half 33-29 and was down 49-40 with 13:11 to play. In about a 3 minute span, the Huskies went on a 14-4 spurt to take a 54-53 lead it never relinquished. Northern Illinois shot just 39% from the field but made 39 of 50 free throws. Along with his 40 points, Silas had 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. For the Flames, Robo Kreps and Paul Carter each had 16 points.

Then the same UIC beat Illinois today!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.
