La Salle suffered its 8th loss in a row as the Explorers fall to the Temple Owls 65-53. La Salle actually had a 32-31 halftime lead, but Temple went on a 17-0 run to start the second half. La Salle shot better from the floor than Temple, but the Owls outrebounded La Salle 50-27. The Owls had 21 offensive rebounds and 14 2nd-chance points. Lavoy Allen had 17 points for the Owls and an amazing 21 rebounds. Juan Fernandez was hot from 3-point range and had 23 points and 2 assists. For La Salle, Rodney Green had 21 points and 6 assists, and Jerrell Williams had 17 points and 5 rebounds.
