Northern Arizona has defeated Sacramento State 11 consecutive times, winning this time around 73-59. Sacramento State had a lead of 21-9 in the first half but only led 27-26 at the half. Northern Arizona made most of its free throws and scored several backdoor baskets to take command in the second half. The Lumberjacks shot 46% from the field, 44% from 3-point range, and made 20 of 21 free throws in the game. Gabe Rogers led the way for Northern Arizona with 20 points, while Cameron Jones scored 18, and Shane Johannsen registered 14 points.
Sacramento State shot 40% from the field and converted on just 11 of 20 free throws. For the Hornets, center Justin Eller had 14 points and 5 rebounds. Antonio Flaggs and Duro Bjegovic each had 12 points for Sacramento State.
