St. Louis-Massachusetts

Postby BYUfan1 » Sun Feb 21, 2010 7:05 pm

St. Louis stayed focus after losing an eleven-point lead with 15 minutes left in the game to defeat the Massachusetts Minutemen 69-56. UMass only shot 39% from the field. The Minutemen were basically a two-man team as far as scoring was concerned as Ricky Harris has 23 points, and Terrell Vinson scored 19 points. Cody Ellis made four 3-pointers for the Billikens and finished with 14 points. The leading scorer in the game for St. Louis was Kyle Cassity, who had 16 points. Willie Reed chipped in with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks. St. Louis has now won six in a row. UMass falls to 10-17 and 4-9 in the Atlantic 10.
