California-Maryland

Neither team is shooting well, but Maryland leads 34-31. Maryland has less turnovers than Cal but Cal is getting more second chance points. Greivis Vasquez has two fouls in the first half for Maryland.

Halfway thru the second half, Cal just simply self destructed. Bad turnovers, no defense, it was just ugly basketball. Jerome Randle couldn't score in the second half and Patrick Christopher fouled out early. Theo Robertson did have 22 points Cal in the losing effort. Maryland wins 84-71.
