Mount St. Mary's-Sacred Heart

Conference play in the Northeast Conference started off with a bang as Sacred Heart comes back from trailing at the half to defeat Mount St. Mary's 80-75 in a rematch of last season's conference championship game. Sacred Heart made 6 of 10 3-pointers in the second half to spark their comeback. Ryon Howard overcame first-half foul trouble to score 20 points. Mehmet Sahan scored a career high 24 points. Sacred Heart held the Mount's star guard Jeremy Goode to 1-14 from the field. Jean Cajou did score 21 points for Mount St. Mary's.
