Kansas-Portland State

Postby BYUfan1 » Thu Apr 03, 2008 11:17 pm

Besides Butler, I thought Portland State got the worst deal as far as seeding was concerned. Portland State got a 16 seed but had an RPI rating better than American, San Diego, Georgia, Winthrop, Texas Arlington, Mount St. Mary's, and Mississippi Valley State. I don't know if Portland State would have won a game if they were seeded 14 or 15, but I would have liked to have seen them play a team not as good as Kansas just to see what would happen.

Kansas won 85-61 and made more 3-pointers in the first half than they usually make in a game. Portland State just couldn't deal with the size of Kansas.
