Santa Clara-San Francisco

Postby BYUfan1 » Sun Feb 16, 2014 6:26 am

Kruize Pinkins scored a career-high 26 points to lead the San Francisco Dons to a 69-63 victory over the Santa Clara Broncos. The Dons overcame a poor shooting night by controlling the boards and getting 30 points in the paint. San Francisco shot just 37.5% (21-56) from the floor while the Broncos shot 40% (24-60). Cole Dickerson chipped in with 13 points and 14 rebounds for San Francisco. Brandon Clark scored 15 points for the Broncos while Evan Roquemore scored 13 points and dished out two assists coming off the bench. With St. Mary's losing to BYU, the Dons are now tied with the Gaels for third place in the West Coast Conference. The Dons are now 16-10 and 9-5 in conference play while the Broncos fall to 11-16 and 4-10 in the WCC.
