Holy Cross-Colgate

Postby BYUfan1 » Wed Jan 08, 2014 11:54 pm

Six players reached double figures in scoring as the Holy Cross Crusaders defeated the Colgate Raiders 73-64. Center Dave Dudzinski led Holy Cross in scoring tonight with 16 points and shared the top rebounding mark of eight with Malcolm Miller. Holy Cross had a 34-27 lead at halftime but saw it dissipate quickly when the Crusaders turned the ball over in the first four minutes of the second half as much as they did the entire first half. The two teams kept exchanging leads for much of the second half until the Crusaders pull ahead for good with a run late in the second half. Austin Tilotson, a transfer from Monmouth, scored 20 points and dished out six assists for Colgate. Holy Cross goes to 1-2 in conference play and 7-8 overall as the Raiders fall to 6-8 and 0-3 in the Patriot League.
