18-4 is pretty awesome. Any tips?
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I thought I could position myself for a comeback, but I picked Penn State (with the assumption on December 19th that McGloin would play, he didn't  ), Nebraska, Ohio State, and Georgia. Now I'm toast

I was all in on Penn State too, not knowing about McGloin and also not thinking about the PSU coaches all being worried about their next job instead of their current job. I didn't think Ohio State would win, but I picked MSU and South Carolina. I'm still toast. I needed Penn State to win badly.

What's worse about that game is that I had selected Houston, but I watched Bowl Mania to see what the "experts" were doing, and they all seemed to nod in agreement that Houston can't handle a good defensive line since Southern Miss was the best they had faced all year and Keenum was constantly getting pressured. I bought into this line of reasoning, and it cost me 16 points

I didn't see that, but that was my reasoning as well.

I can still win, but I have to win out. I'm a big fan of Clemson this week. They are the key to me having a chance to win. They lose and I'm done.

Not much changed with the Michigan win, as 13 of the 16 had Michigan. Will update again, after tonight's Orange Bowl game.

Spence, I hate to disappoint you, but you would not win, if all your picks are correct. You would finish 4 points behind LSUAfganbob.
I believe you need to win all the games, except the SMU game and you would win by 1 point.

Yeah, I subtracted the 19 I placed on Clemson from Bob instead of the 10 he put on. Oh well, not a bad comeback from a 3 and 4 start.

You still can win, but not by winning every game. And I don't think anyone else has a chance to come from behind.

That is what I see too. It is a huge longshot though. I must have Clemson win tonight to have a shot. I'm not holding my breath.

Spence,
I am pulling for Clemson tonight, just so that you stay in the running. Of course, that means W Virginia will win.

I think the fact that I picked them means Clemson will lose. I'm probably will root for the EERs. I usually root for who I like no matter who I pick. West Virginia is one of those teams I pull for all season, so I will be happy either way. I want to win, though.
