Spence, Akron won by 11 points. That means Jason G gets 40 CFP Bucks from me. Thanks.

Looking For Hoosiers

Postby BYUfan1 » Sat Oct 28, 2006 4:55 am

Now that Michigan State is back on track, any Hoosier fans out there feeling lucky? Anyone out there wanting Air Force over BYU? I ready to make some bets. Someone throw me a bone, I'm flexible.

I'll take Indiana for $50.00 if you spot me ten points. I won't be around until later today, at best, so if you want to do it just confirm and it will be done.

Michigan State -10

Postby BYUfan1 » Sat Oct 28, 2006 11:49 am

I am not thrilled with giving 10 but I don't want to be called chicken. Anyway, Indiana is nothing special anyway. You got it, you get Indiana and 10 points.

I wouldn't have called you chicken. I thought MSU would win, but I thought they would struggle. Indiana isn't good, but they aren't terrible this year. Hardy will be a NFL reciever, Thigpen has a shot also. Their freshman QB is pretty good, give him until the end of next year to get seasoned and he may be able to get Indiana bowling by the time he is a junior.

He might be able to get them there this season

If they had just defeated Southern Illinois...... :?

I don't think he was the QB during that game, was he? I'm not trying to make Indiana better then they are, but they do have a very good coach and they have some talent. I think they have the chance to climb out of the ranks of the B-10 bottom feeders, maybe by next season. They need linemen on both sides of the ball. They aren't terrible at the skill positions.

I think the SIU game was when Blake Powers got yanked.

Hoeppner is such a good coach. I think Indiana will be bowling at the end of the year. With Michigan and Ohio State going to the BCS, Indiana won't be going to the Motor City Bowl. The Champs Sports Bowl will probably be the final slot that a Big 10 team can fill. They might play a team like Florida State or somebody

Rutgers vs. UConn

Postby BYUfan1 » Sun Oct 29, 2006 6:09 pm

Hey Eric, I know you wouldn't want UConn straight up tonight, but for 20 CFP bucks, how many points would you want? Put a half in there so we don't get a tie.

I give you a chance to win your money back. Tell me how many points you want to give?

How does 16.5 sound?

Tenn-Ark

Postby BYUfan1 » Thu Nov 09, 2006 8:37 am

I would be interested if I could have Tennessee. I have not checked the line to see if Tennessee is favorite, but i would not be interested in giving points with Ainge's injury.

It is done. Billybud and I have a post season bet on whether or not the ACC and B-10 go .500 in the bowls. $1000 on both. BB wins once if the ACC goes .500, wins twice if the B-10 fails to go .500

Yeah, I know stupid bet, but it will keep me interested in Purdue during bowl season.
