Leaderboard - Week 1

Postby Eric » Tue Sep 08, 2009 1:04 pm

1. ..Fanatic JR - 14
2. Eric - 13
T3. S.Carolina Fan - 12
T3. WarriorsFan - 12
T3. Vileborg - 12
(Doss - 12) (sorry about that  )
T6. RazorHawk - 11
T6. Derek - 11
T6. WoVeU - 11
T6. Spence - 11
T10. WVU - 10
T10. Donovan - 10
12. Strawman - 9
T13. Howdy - 8
T13. ..Fanatic - 8
T13. LSUDog - 8
T13. Billybud - 8

Man, that was a rough week. I should note that Strawman finished with 9 because his picks weren't entirely entered. We had a couple 8-spotters this week! That's okay though, this was a tougher-than-usual opening week, so never to fear. Any time the top picker of the week hit 14 out of 20, you know it was pretty difficult. Good luck next week!

I would have only picked 1 right out of the ones I screwed up so it wasn't as big a foul up as I thought.

If you can use the spin on why my teams picked should have won : if a player was injured, one was not, the weather could have been more stormy, in 1935 my team had Biljowksi who was a really good, it was too earlier in the season, it was not late enough in the season, the schedule favored the big schools and give the small schools an advatage, ESPN showed too many advertisements, the officials were prejudiced and finally, I was unduly influenced my Spence's anaylisis....I would have then all right....correct the leader board"

And you forgot that fact that we are all winners, there are no losers. 8)
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I must of been really bad with my picks....I am not even listed above. I actually think I picked 15 or 16 right. Eric...I found my post from Aug 14 with my picks and sent a pm to you.

I got it now, Doss. I counted that you went 12-8. I did count you and put your total off to the side, but I accidentally skipped over you.

Eric I think Derek has it right. Can you post the "We Are the World" version of the results so we can all feel like little drops of sunshine inside?
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
