Well, what can I say Mountainman? Champion again! Howdy made a great run at ya, but you prevailed. I just don't know how you do it
Can you give me any tips? My word, I tell you guys, every single game that could go one way or the other, I got wrong. I picked USC, Hawaii, Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, and Arkansas. What are the odds?
It was fun picking games for you guys to select, and I'm glad to see you did too. Fun season, too bad it's all over. However, there are still the bowls left and there will be 2 other people having a chance to get crowned (or maybe it's Mountainman again). The straight-up picks and the confidence points begin tomorrow. I'll post the confidence picks in the General Discussion board and you guys know the drill.

Bring on the bowls ..... and in the meantime .... a tribute to all us Pickers who every week spent considerable time making our selections and then spend considerable more time wondering how we could have been so wrong .
The Charge Of The Pigskin Pickers
Half a league half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Picks
Rode the Pigskin Pickers:
'Forward, the Pigskin Pickers!
Charge for the guns' he said:
Into the valley of Picks
Rode the Pigskin Pickers.
'Forward, the PigSkin Pickers!'
Was there a picker dismay'd ?
Not tho' the picker knew
Some one had blunder'd:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do & die,
Into the valley of Picks
Rode the Pigskin Pickers.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd & thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the Pigskin Pickers.
Flash'd all their sabres bare,
Flash'd as they turn'd in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army while
All the world wonder'd:
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right thro' the line they broke;
Cossack & Russian
Reel'd from the sabre-stroke,
Shatter'd & sunder'd.
Then they rode back, but not
Not all the Pigskin Pickers.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volley'd and thundered;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
While horse & hero fell,
They that had fought so well
Came thro' the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of Hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of the Pigskin Pickers.
When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wonder'd.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Pigskin Pickers,
Noble Pigskin Pickers!
Thanks Mr. Tennyson

That made me want to cry, Mountainman
Nice win, Mountainman has truly been the best picker among us for the last 2 seasons.
I tell you guys what though, I've got a darkhorse picker, and his name is.....Eric! I'm going to be 32-0 when all of this is said and done, I promise
