Notice:

Due to Marshall having over 30 players leave in the Transfer Portal, they do not have enough active roster players to play in the Independence Bowl.

Marshall has officially pulled out of the game, and the Independence Bowl committee scrambled to replace them with (5-7) Louisiana Tech.
