Fantasy Picks-Week 11

Postby Eric » Sun Nov 05, 2006 1:38 am

Well, they're up again.

1 Jason G 54 25 68.4% 1555 2700
2 colorado_loves_football 50 30 62.5% 1564 2700
3 Howdy 53 27 66.3% 1363 2650
4 mountainman 52 28 65% 1326 2600
5 ..fanatic 52 28 65% 1415 2600
6 BYUfan1 52 24 68.4% 1473 2600
7 LubbockHasNoTrees 51 28 64.6% 1518 2550
8 Eric 50 30 62.5% 1815 2500
9 RaliLlama 49 31 61.3% 1496 2450
10 Spence 45 34 57% 1620 2450

Jason G maintains his #1 spot, but CLF, Howdy, Mountainman, the ever-dangerous ...fanatic, BYUFan, LHNT, I, RaliLlama, and pretty much everybody else who hasn't missed substantial time is in this thing.

Hey, Jason G, I'll be-a-coming for you!

I guess I'll just jot my thoughts on a couple games on the slate this week.....

No, that's not an error, we have 5 pre-Saturday games on the picking schedule. Normally, Buffalo vs. Akron wouldn't be on there if I hadn't used Buffalo yet. But with an Akron team who has struggled and finally, maybe got some momentum to end the bleeding with a win this week against a resurgent Bull team under the leadership of Turner Gill should make a great game. I'm glad it's on ESPNU this Thursday.

Western Michigan vs. Central Michigan. This is the biggest game of the MAC season by far. This game will pretty much decide who will represent the MAC West in the championship game. I've got CMU, mainly because they just appear to better and it's in Kelly-Shorts Stadium. Hopefully, I'll see if I can work around my schedule to go see this game on Friday night. :D

Boise State @ San Jose State is a beautiful definition of what a trap game is. Does anybody remember what happened last time Boise State went to San Jose? It was a 56-49, double OT affair against a pitiful SJSU team which Boise hung 70 points on the year before  I'm telling you guys, anything can happen in the WAC, especially on the road....

That's enough from me; how about you guys? Any games you're having trouble picking?
