Final Leaderboard: Weeks 11-14

Postby Eric » Wed Dec 09, 2015 4:10 am

You guys might want to check me, but I counted twice and I counted.....A tie! That's right, 176 to 176 between Spence and Armchairqb. I could have screwed up somewhere, but here's my final tally:

T1. Armchairqb - 176
T1. Spence - 176
3. Eric - 169
4. Donovan - 167
5. Highfly - 156 (with the mulligan included)
6. Cane - 153
---(missed two weeks or more)---
7. Vileborg - 117
8. Fanatic - 59
9. Derek - 44
10. Dossenator - 24
11. Warriorsfan - 15

So if my calculations were right, I'm just going to give Armchair the title because he's not a Buckeye. 8) Can I do that? :D Congratulations to both!

This was the week-by-week and I can't find any issues:

Armchairqb - 129, 9, 11, 16, 11 = 176
Spence - 124, 12, 15, 16, 9 = 176

Good job Armchairqb and Spence, if you like kissing your sister. ( I am not bitter about always sucking hind teat. And you thought professional wrestling was fixed!)

I'm not checking it. I thought I did poorly the last couple of weeks.

And I can guarantee you that there is no obsessive science in picking these games. If I were brutally scientific, I would be worse at it. One thing's for sure, I go with my gut and not my heart. Despite that, there was a week or two toward the end of the regular season where I nearly flushed the co-title down the toilet.

I like to know if there are injuries or someone that is suspended for what ever reason. Then I look at the games that are close and see which team has more to play for in the season. I mostly just use the eye test, though, and pick. Sometimes you can see upsets setting up from several weeks in a row. Then I alway pick Ohio State to win. They win something like 85% of their games all time, so it usually works out for me. I never bet on them, if I had a cause to bet on games. That is the big jinx. I'm not a lucky person and picking them for money guarantees the loss.
