Nice win (first half) Mountainman

Postby Spence » Sat Oct 07, 2006 11:44 pm

Even if I had gotten credit for my 12 wins last week, I would have been four short. BG would have been three short. I bow to your greatness.

O.K. guys and gal ....... it's halftime. :D

Get to the locker room and make your adjustments in your techniques and alignments, determine the mis-matches and put your game plan together for the second half.

P.S. I sure hope Hawaii and Northern Illinois win.

I went out on a limb more than a few times this week and it, uh, let's just say my picks got slaughtered

Congrats, MM. I'm sure more people will join and start trying to knock the top dawg off of this thing.

So, for the second half, I'm pickin myself for the odds on favorite. I base that on outscoring the leader the past two weeks, and averaging higher points per week.

I totally screwed up yesterday. I was at 71.8% now im 68%.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Two weeks !!!! ..... two weeks !!!!!! ...... you better go back a figure some more ..... your extrapolations and simple actuarial analysis has way, way, way to much wiggle room. :D

I was so far ahead of you I took a pee-wee vacation down at the E-Z Snooze Motel where the ladies dance among the palm trees and the drinks taste like fruit or coconut ....... :D

In truth, no one knows what the future holds, and these last two weeks had some rough pickins. I'm glad it's being halved, because it gives me a realistic opportunity to stay off the second page.
I look forward to having an even opportunity to compete with people I highly respect. I've surfed many boards, and read many articles, and even play in a few other pick'ems, but this is the only place I put any stock into. I find more thought provoking, insightful, and quality posts here than anywhere else.

Finally, in closing, I know how much work goes into researching each, and every game to make the right decisions week to week. Congratulations on a well deserved victory.

I believe MM uses the "eenie meanie" method of picking.

"eenie and meanie" are doing really well, but I'm going to have a little talk with "mineie and moe" ........ those two guys have been hanging around Peter Piper who picked a peck of pickled peppers and if Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers then where's the peck of pickled peppers that Peter Piper picked.
