1. Tennessee-certainly looked good against a quality Utah State team
2. Army- New coach, 1st game, lets go Army
3. North Texas-They are home, neither team looked good
4. Western Kentucky- What an impressive showing vs Bowling Green
5. Purdue- Could go either way but Purdue at home
6. Navy- Temple looked much improved and now they are home but I'll go with Navy anyway
7. Georgia State- 2 in a row why not
8. Utah- Started strong last year, including win over Stanford then wheels fell off
9. Stanford- I simply dont like USC
10. Kentucky- Coin toss in my book but Ohio lost alot
11. Northern Illinois- Not much of a road game as they will pack Ryan Field, N'western looked lost w/o Mark
12. Maryland- USF is bad, real bad
13. Iowa- 1 of many good teams that didnt look it
14. Oregon- Oregon is too explosive for Mich St offense to keep up
15. South Carolina- I hope I'm wrong but dont see So Car dropping first 2 games at home
16. Notre Dame- I pass on Golson for Heisman koolaid all over the airwaves after Rice, gag on the hype after this win
17. Texas- This will tell how far the defense has come under Strong, couldnt stop anyone in last year's showdown.
18. Ohio State- Still a solid team and tough to beat in Columbus, D-line leads the way
19. Wyoming- Montana is better than Air Force, Wyoming wins by at least 2 scores
20. Boise State- Showed nothing to make me pick them while CSU showed every reason they should win

When I was counting my Wins-Losses I was at 15-5. Losses were South Caro, Vanderbilt, Wash St., Bowling Green, and New Mexico. I respect you guys too much to take an unfair advantage.

Thanks for the heads up, I must have glossed over either Bowling Green or New Mexico. My bad. And thanks for the honesty! 8)
