CFP Trivia Challenge Question Game 49

Postby Spence » Sun Jun 18, 2006 11:18 am

From Mountainman,

Although the first All-American team was named in 1889, numbers to identify individual players were not recommended until 1915. The numbers were optional until the NCAA made a rule change mandating that all players wear game jerseys that were numbered both front and back.

What year was this rule implemented?
