CFP Trivia Challenge Question Game 43

Postby Spence » Tue Jun 13, 2006 11:57 pm

From Mountainman,

Goal posts, originally placed on the goal line, were moved back 10 yards to the rear of the end zone in an effort to avert injuries by ball carriers or other players running into the uprights.

What year was this rule implemented?

I'd like to thank everyone who made this possible.

I'd like to thank Spence for the 50 Bucks,

I'd like to thank Mountainman for the question.

I'd like to thank good fortune for post 10,000.

Oh, I'd also like to thank Regis Philbin, Orville Reddenbacher, Colonel Sanders, Brent Mussberger, Brent Mussbergers booze, and of course God, who's divine intervention and hatred of Missouri brought Colorado their National Championship :P
How typical, you forgot to thank the person who matters the most, your mom!
But at least you remembered God, who did divinely lead Colorado to their national championship.
You must have short-term memory. Don't you remember Raghib ismails ill-fated punt return for a TD?
If that wasn't divine intervention, I don't know what is.
Colorado needed it to beat Nebraska, the only time (other than in 2002, 2004) they have beaten them in Lincoln, NE.
