FSU beat the SEC, B-10, B-12 champs in 1987...
Florida State did not beat the Big East champ in 93, nor did the beat the Big Eight champ in 87. Florida State has never beaten 3 major conference champions in a single year.

Hmmm...need to wear my glasses..I am seeing one line off...
Beat Nebraska in 88 not 87...and Miami was Champ in 94 not 93...
Maybe a 20 inch monitor instead of this lap top would help.
Jeez...did I get Notre Dame's 1952 year right? Now I don't trust my eyes.

Beat Oklahoma ...Big Seven Champ ...precursor of Big 8
Beat Purdue....Big Ten Champ
South. Cal......Pacific Coast Conference
Texas.......Southwest Conference Champ
All "major" conferences of the day...

Yes, I suppose I should have mentioned that. One of 3 teams to beat 4 in a season. I noted it because you mentioned FSU had won 3 and when I check the list I didn't see any FSU.

Thanks...I do not wear glasses with the computer because of the difficulty I have had with multiple focus....I think the small print is giving me troubles.
