Nebraska - Michigan

Hats off to the Huskers, they came to play. Nice win.

Side bar, the officials in that game may be the worst I have ever seen. What high school league do they usually work in?

Mike Tericco (sp) said the officials were from the Sun Belt Conference.

it must have been their first game ever. Lloyd finally has a reason to complain about the officials. If I were those officials I would hand in my resignation and hope no one saw my face.

I don't think I've ever heard Herbstreet and Company rip a crew that badly. The end was an exclamation point on their "suckiness" with how slowly they put the ball in play before the punt, and rushing off the field without sorting out the mess of an ending.

Oh, speaking of that, I forgot about the playclock stalling. You think the refs would've noticed something funny about 30-40 seconds disappearing off of the clock...

How about the blown interference call by the goal line in the 4th quarter.

Well, I was barking about this earlier. It stuck it on the old message board.

Good Game

That game proves theory, if you're an elite program, you can show up to play in a Bowl Game and win, no matter what your season has looked like. That is why my money is on Oklahoma.

Oh it would've, I think 2 more timeouts, a corrected fumble in your own zone, a pass interference on 4th down, and a loss of 40 extra seconds might change the outcome of the game!

I seriously picked the wrong fourth quarter to go to bed instead of watching, never again! Caffeine and beer from now on!

You can't take anything away from Nebraska. They stood toe to toe with Michigan and came out on top. Bad calls happen, they happen to both teams, and you must overcome them to win.

That said, those officials should be banned from ever doing another football game at any level.

Those officials are a disgrace to college football. How do you miss instant replay calls??? Not only that but there were many other one sided calls that favored nebraska. I can see a few missed calls but that was terrible. Nebraska should take those refs with them next year and they could go undefeated, because thats the only way they will win a game.

Michigan didn't get homered. The ref's were bad both ways.
