If you go to the Fantasy Sports, you'll see four columns next to your name.

We'll do mine for example...

Wins - 1
I correctly predicted the winner.

Losses - 0
Self-explanatory

Point Diff - 24
I predicted the score would be 31 to 24 (a total of 55 points). The actual score was 41 to 38 (a total of 79 points). I was 24 points off on the total score.

Points - 1
I received 1 point for correctly guessing the winner. Had I guess the score exactly right, I would have received 5 points (no one predicted the correct score).

This is all kind of pointless right now, but it will make sense later.

It's also completely pointless right now because we're not going to be using this Fantasy Sports next season!

WHAT!?

Read my topic entitled "We love you, so here's a present" that I'm about to post.

This is probably the only discussion board online where almost all the neutral observers picked Texas. Hook 'Em. Congrats on the #5 finish WV! R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

My next prediction....USC fans everywhere cry themselves to sleep and wake up in the morning convinced it was a bad dream. Denial. Give us respect RuffRyder Fans.

I'm so glad they play the bowl games after the New Year, so I don't have to hear "that was last year"

Again, we were all right, well I really did think we were going to win by a lot more than we did. But a lot of you said Texas was going to win by about a field goal.

Interesting observation, and I would be interested in learning why, if the games are played, after New Year's why they are crowned '2005' National Champions. Seems to me they accomplished it in 2006, or am I just stupid?

Good point, and one reason why I thought Vince Young deserved the Heisman for 2005.
I would like to see 'any' game played in a calendar year, applied in that fashion, myself. Why, for example, are Texas the 2005 National Champions? Seems to me they won it in 2006. Oh, well. Somehow it all works out, in the record books.
They never used to include bowls within statistics, for whatever reason. I would like to see the Heisman awarded after the bowls are over. Vince Young was the best overall athlete in 2005. I don't care if he can't read.

It was the 2005 team that won it.
Makes sence to me

What does it say about the Heisman trophy process that ignored Vince Young because he doesnt play for the right team..

Maybe we need an Electoral College for the Heisman??? :D

In other words....A System that is not a popularity contest??

And not to take anything away from Reggie Bush, but that's all it is. It takes talent to be in the game, but in the end, it's about popularity for the most part.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

You'll never hear me say that Reggie Bush didn't deserve the Heisman, but it cheapens the Heisman when the greatest college football player of all time is the runner up.

ESPN won that award for Bush.
