Welcome to the board.

I've been keeping tabs on South Carolina for a few years. I was hopeful that Lou Holtz would do something while he was there, and then I've been let down a bit by Spurrier. Not that I don't think he has improved the results of the program a little, but I was hopeful he would take them to Primetime.

I've been a firm believer in Alabama, but I'm not quite sold on them yet. They've been playing on a level that has earned them respect. The question lies in whether they are playing to their absolute best to reach that level, or are they naturally that good and have a lot left in the tank. The first half of the Georgia game they looked like Juggernauts, and I don't think they were in any serious danger of losing the game, but they let Georgia try to get back in the game.

They definitely let them get back within striking distance. I was hoping the ole ball coach would at least attract more top recruits. Unfortunately they all end up at the other school in state (clemson i think they are called) also Ga and Fla eat alot of them up. We actually have a very good defense but have found no true rhythym on offense. Looking forward to seeing how we fare at kentucky this year. Thanks for the welcome aboard guys. How bout that orange team falling to the deacons last nite. hahahaha

Welcome!!

I heard that Wake forest was doing a "blackout" and I thought my head was going to explode. So I had to watch in hopes that they would get demolished. But alas I was disappointed. 8)
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I believe the Bowden era is over at the orange school. Seems there was alot of riders attached to his contract extension that he signed last year. I'm pretty sure dropping 2 conference games in a row was in there somewhere. They have Ga Tech next i believe so it isnt going to get any easier. Maybe Bowden needs to take a tip from Tuberville and oust an O-coordinator.

Yes, but hasn't he played that card already? Or am I thinking of somebody else? His time IS running out.

Yeah, you're right about that one. Bowden is a lame duck right now. How can a team like Clemson be 2-3 right now? I realize that there were issues on the offensive line, but come on. I guess I don't have much room to talk seeing as how my team is also 2-3

No SC guys except you, but we have a lot of SEC guys. Welcome.
I'm an SC fan. quite ironic, the first usc game i went to freshman year was USC-USC, 1980 in the rogers heisman year

Yeah, I was talking east coast SC.

Kind of like OSU Oregon St, OSU, Oklahoma St. It does get confusing. Fortunately there are no others, except TOSU.
