I like Woody almost as much as Bryant for punching that Clemson player. It was the wrong thing to do, but somehow it seemed right.


Woody shouldn't have done it, but the player smarted off to him and Woody was from the school that says you don't do that. That didn't get Woody fired though, it was the excuse they needed for getting rid of a legend. The players were starting to change and the old man wasn't able to deal with it. The university handled it the wrong way. Woody was a legend and they should have sent him out as one.

The people that handled the end of Woody's career in a fashion such as that should have their careers end in the same way.

What's that about treating other people the way you want to be treated?
