I think the ACC will do it.

I see the Pac-10 as getting only one loss. That should be 1 loss in 6 I think? Zona State, Cal, and I think UCLA and USC will end up winning. I think Oregon is probably going to lose this game tonight.

The ACC will probably only have one loss also, Virginia. Of course, Virginia has a pretty good chance of beating Minnesota. That would put the ACC at a perfect 6-0 record

Well, I do think the losses will come from NC State and Florida State. You seriously think FSU is going to beat Penn State? That would be a shocker. I do think NC State is going to pull off a Georgia Tech against South Florida (not as badly however). Speaking of GT, that'll make 3 ACC losses.

My bad. I didn't catch that. I agree The losses will be NC State, FSU, UVA and obviously Georgia Tech. That would actually make the ACC 2-4. The FSU game will be a blowout with Joe Pa's team on the winning side. Anyone who thinks FSU will win is a moron. I only picked them because that is my grandpa's favorite team.
I apologize for that.

Well, I think the only instance where the ACC team doesn't have a shot to win is in the Orange Bowl. Other than that, I think the ACC could easily end up with 2 losses.

Never apologize for backing up your grampa. Even if he is a Florida St. fan.

I think so as well, jr, but odds are that NC State is going to win. I certainly wouldn't be suprised.

I know. Thing is I've picked alot of upsets this year and most of them have been right. I'm hoping to add to that. I really hope Sou. Fla. wins because for some dumb reason I put 22 confidence points on them.

Hang in there, fanaticjr.

That's one of the things that makes college football fun. I picked a few upsets myself and finally got one today when Utah beat Georgia Tech.

I did lose the Colorado State, Houston and Boise State picks though. It's fun when you aren't a fan of either team when you do it that way. Keeps the game interesting.

Big 12

Postby Yeofoot » Fri Dec 30, 2005 10:42 am

I think the bowl games are what the media and America usually decides which conferences are strong. You have to win by more than the spread to be better than originally considered. Or you have to beat a team that is ranked higher than you. If you lose, you were overrated.

Texas Tech is the only team of the eight teams out of the Big 12 that is picked to win their bowl game. Already we've had 3 upsets, and I hope that people are starting to realize that the Big 12 is a whole lot better than originally thought. All these haters made me commit treason. I was rooting for OU last night. I am indifferent about Missouri, but I guess I'm rooting for Big 12 teams this year, and that QB is fun to watch.

Tech

Rolltide, what do you think... Is Bama going to show up to win? How have they been against the short pass this year. I know they've got one of the best D's in the country, but those few games that got away, what worked for the other teams? I'm kinda on the fence, I'm rooting for Tech cause the whole Big12 needs more respect thing. But I grew up in a town with 99% Red Raider fans, and literally was the only Longhorn fan. Why should I root for Bama?
