UPDATE NOTICE: CFP Bucks

Postby openSkies » Thu Mar 09, 2006 4:50 pm

A bunch of you have let me know that CFP Bucks are not working, so I'm posting this so that no one has to keep wondering.

CFP BUCKS ARE INDEED NOT WORKING.

Sorry, I messed something up. Right now I'm working non-stop on the new CFP site as well as CollegeKickoffRadio, so I'll get to it when I have a free moment.

When I tried installing a new modification to the board, apparently I wrote over something related to CFP Bucks. I'm going to have to go through a search through over 50 pages of code to un-due the new installation, and then go over the CFP Bucks installation to make sure everything is there.

When this is fixed, I will let everyone know =]

Thanks guys.

it probably isn't bad that they aren't working for a while. That way when the new guys start wondering in this summer, they will have a chance to catch up.

Theeeeeeeeeeey're baaaaaaaaaaack.

=]

Only took me 3 hours straight.

Below is the problem that was keeping it from working...

//

if ( defined('IN_CASHMOD') ) {
include($phpbb_root_path . 'functions_cash.'.$phpEx); }
unset($dbpasswd);
$client_ip = ( !empty($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['REMOTE_ADDR']) ) ? $HTTP_SERVER_VARS['REMOTE_ADDR'] : ( ( !empty($HTTP_ENV_VARS['REMOTE_ADDR']) ) ? $HTTP_ENV_VARS['REMOTE_ADDR'] : getenv('REMOTE_ADDR') );
$_ip = encode_ip($_ip);

I forgot the first . (period) in the 2nd line. Hah! Oh well.

But yeah, it all runs smoothly now.
