Quick, important question...

Postby openSkies » Tue Feb 21, 2006 7:06 pm

Would anyone be interested in either a...

(1) Podcast
(2) Streaming audio
(3) Archived audio

show recapping the week of college football in 3-minutes flat?

Like the good old times, when CFP was nothing more than a local radio show.

Just purchased a ton of new recording equipment, thought maybe CFP Admin could put it to some good use.

I'd still have to talk him into it haha, but I just wanted to get a feel... to see if anyone would even listen.

I would. I'm always interested in hearing different views on CFB. It would help us when voting on the top 25 also.

Basically, it would be everything you'd see on the site anyways. Scores, CCR 119 top 25 teams, a few interesting facts, and a pre-game.

It would just be a nice audio format so you don't have to go sift through the entire site for the same info.

Anyone else?

I think most people that follow college football would be interested in somethiing that 'summarizes' the games, I know that's something I enjoy.

It would definitely be CFP Admin =]

All the recording equipment I bought goes to his house tomorrow or Saturday.

He's the one that did the original radio show, anyways.

Oh, and my voice sucks haha.

I'll just be doing the background stuff. You know, the cool little intro, the background music, etc. I'm starting to acquire a pretty large music library.

Haha, nice.

We could have call ins, too. I have the equipment =] Dunno how well that would go though haha.

Plus, it won't be a live show.

Well... I don't think. I don't know, CFP Admin is outta town until tomorrow. I'll talk to him then.

Ugh, been on the phone all day with CFP's programmer and CFP's hosting provider (as well as my personal host).

Trying to figure out if a streaming audio feed is possible. At this point, it is not possible on CFP's host. My host may allow it though, we're working on that.

I think we might just have to stick with pre-recorded audio shows. We could still do call-ins, though. Just not live.

Like... Spence calls the CFP office phone line, we have a chat with him, and paste it into our audio editing program.

//

I'm going to make a seperate topic to ask about something... everyone please respond.
