I kind of like Arkansas too. We have some of those Wild Boars roaming the hills and hollers of West Virginia. Those guys are tough customers. No fear of people at all, they will put your butt up a tree in a heartbeat. They don't give a grunt about how old and fat you are either.

Saw where one took on a buddy of mind's jeep when he can up on it suddenly one night while the 'hog' was standing in the road. My buddy stopped and the 'hog' attacked the jeep and burst the right front tire .... ripped it wide open with his tusk.

Can anybody tell me how Alabama got a elephant as a mascot?

The only one I see as half way decent is:

Alabama.

If you want to see a winner---look at my team's "tigerhawk". It sparks fear in the hearts of any team that faces them...mo matter what the "records" are --- especially in recent history.

It's the symbol of this Country's only team known as the Hawkeyes.
