On a series note; here is a guy who I wouldn't agree on life choices with, but he has some very eye opening audio files these teleprompter personalities were feeding us leading up to this past week's games.

The ‘Mouse’ a.k.a. ESPN is waking up to ‘Woke’……….. hopefully they and one of their ‘mouth-pieces’ a.k.a. Kirk Herbstreit will learn that that ‘EARNED’ and ‘DESERVES’ are not synonymous. 8)

Yep…… that’s the point, I want to hear what Herbstreit thinks, believes and has to say, not ESPN or some corporate entity with an agenda of social reform.

If you hear him in a local setting he will say pretty much what he thinks, although he wouldn’t contradict the company line.

Too bad he's not got the set that RG III has ...

And we all know just who he's referring to.

I've seen so many people connecting this link ...

One that I really haven't heard anybody address, is how the Big 10 is benefiting in the same fashion, having Washington in the playoff; considering where they'll be playing come 2024.

I get that they are undefeated, too.

However, Oregon was a 2 score favorite to win the Pac, and were absolutely going to the playoff with one loss, had they beaten the Huskies.

And they still would have pushed FSU to the side for Michigan, Oregon, Texas and Alabama.

Oh yeah ... and where will Oregon play ball next season?

Sure, that argument could be made, but I never saw or heard where Tony Petitti was running around advocating for that to happen or see him on the TV with the talking heads advocating for that to happen as Greg Sankey was doing………. Hell, I also didn’t see where Tony Petitti made a demand of Charlie Baker about ‘Why am I just now hearing about this?” during the the NCAA’s meeting in Las Vegas last week when Baker unveiled his proposed plan to address numerous issues the NCAA is attempting to address…….. And I won’t mention Greg Sankey colluding with Texas, who dragged Oklahoma along with them, for over two years before it happened……. knowing that would wreck the BIGXII Conference.

Greg Sankey is a loose cannon….IMHO. 8)

…….and btw, Great game up in Montana last night.

OOPS

I would suggest, as many have in addition to members of this board, that these powers-that-be get a ‘On the Field of Play, Path to the Playoff’ process developed and in place…… NOW. And stop this charade of ‘Selection Committee’.

Not sure I would call it "lack of leadership" IMO. I would call it the wrong leadership...mainly ESPN. 8)

Hard to dispute that…….. ESPN got what they wanted in this years’ CFP. An all BigTen and SEC matchup playing for the title. Don’t be surprised when there’re are only two “Major Conferences” in College Football…….. 8)
