”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

And Jim Phillips was always going to be included...he was NW's AD for a decade abd a half....it was on his watch.

Haven’t seen any former players who allegedly committed the ‘hazing’ on the list as of yet.

Maybe I'm naive about all that hazing entails in these "modern" times. But if you are not physically harmed, and by harmed I mean broken bones or other serious injury, then what's the problem.
When I was in the Navy while crossing the equator, you got the crap beat out of you with a fire hose that had been hardened from being soaked in salt water....it hurt, and you laughed aobut it afterwards.
Are these folks geting their feelings hurt, or is it actual injury?? The article doesn't seem very clear to me.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Wait !
Can I get a lawyer and sue for the "hazing" at Parris Island in 1965 ? Or the way my unit pinned my gold jump wings on our chests in 1966..by slamming it in with the prongs uncovered.
