Air Force - v - Colorado

So, if you fumble the ball 4 times, and your opponents recover it 3 of though times, what do you do ..?

Win the game!

If you are the Air Force.

There is 2:57 left in the 4th Quarter, and the Falcons are up 41 - 10.

It's a rainy miserable day, in Colorado Springs. Ball is wet and slippery.

But still, the team who lost the turnover battle, controlled the pace of the game.

4th and 7 ... Colorado punts.

That's a concession.

The last time this game was played on Air Force's field, was October 5th, 1974. The day I was born.

Colorado won that game 28-27

As I watch Air Force take a knee to finish out the win ... I think about how far these schools have come, gone, and back again in the time I've been alive.

I would say, if I were the Big XII, I'd consider extending an invite to the Air Force Academy as a potential expansion.
