Miami Gets Rashada ...

Postby Cane from the Bend » Mon Jun 27, 2022 12:44 am

---------------------------------------------------------------

Huge recruiting win this weekend for The U ...

Jaden Rashada, 6ft 4in 185lbs QB out of Pittsburg (California).

Listed as a 4 Star, with a .97796 Composite Rating [as near a 5 Star rating as one can get]

Ranked as the 5th Best Player in the state of California, 5th Best QB and #29th Overall in the 2023 Class.

So many projections early on had him going to flur-dah.

His other top schools, were LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

So he burnt the Texas oil money.

Ditched the Massachusetts Bayou guy [despite his QB coaching productivity].

Tamped down the Rebellion [which after Arch Manning, is the second QB rejection of the Lane-train].

And he drained the swamp.

Other non-contender offers were: [just about every team on the West Coast]

Arizona
Arizona State
Arkansas
Auburn
BYU
Cal
Colorado
Fresno St
Ga Tech
Houston
Kansas
Michigan St
Nevada
Oregon
Oregon St
Penn State
Purdue
San Diego St
San Jose St
Stanford
Tennessee

Washington
Washington St

Mario's impact is certainly being felt today.

I hear that Dabo has subscribed to the Coral Gables Gazette……

I wonder if he's the anonymous source that fed the ludicrous accusations of the numbers that were supposedly thrown at this kid.

A random guy uses the internet to post an unsubstantiated article, that says Rashada received NIL offers for:
$11.5 million from florida
and $9.5 million from Miami

Jaden Rashada has been valuated as having a $492 thousand NIL marketability.

Two things, here ...

1.) It would mean he turned down $2 million, to play in an area were the cost of living is exponentially higher.

2.) $11.5 million as an offer, is more than 23 x his estimated $492 thousand valuation.

My money is that it was an fsu or Oregon fan who posted this "anonymous" information.

No doubt there’s a lot of backbiting going on around College Football and in the media…… which is a consequence of the colleges, universities, the media AND the NCAA CHOOSING not to govern themselves…… 8) 8) 8)

That is precisely what the problem is.
