They have been promising this for sometime. They told the NCAA if they didn't fix the likeness issue and set up a medical fund that carries on after the players leave college that they would step in and the NCAA in their infinite wisdom sat on their hands.

You know, sometimes I wonder just why a U.S. Senator would have such an interest in things such as this...... you reckon maybe he just doesn’t have anything else to do??? :| :| :|

I think it has a lot to do with misdirection. If they can get the focus off of what they are doing and put it on someone else, they can continue to loot out country for all that it's worth.

I believe College Football, as we know it, is going to have a very difficult time surviving this siege of bureaucrats, money-grabbers and politicos....... there’s just too much incompetence, money and votes to keep these parasites from feasting to the detriment of the game :| :| :|
