Her sixth grade teacher told me she didn't need to know her multiplication tables because she would always have a calculator. I told him that one day she would require the skill of committing things to memory, he didn't understand because it was something that came naturally to him, she found out last year why she needed that skill when she almost tanked anatomy. It was the first time in her life something didn't come easy for her since sixth grade multiplication.

I have always been good at cards too. Especially poker and Blackjack. I always called my success dumb luck, because playing hunches or playing by feel has always been my play. I never put my card playing skills to the test for anything but fun stakes. My conservative nature prohibits me from testing the water to any large degree.
