Truly Not Ideal

This was a game Miami should have won ...

North Carolina is clearly improved. Mac Brown has certainly injected a fresh sense of confidence into that program. And I give them all the credit for not folding when the momentum shifted, as things looked like they were slipping out of hand.

Miami made too many mistakes. Jumping offsides, giving the first down to the Tar Heels on 3rd, more than once.

Great Coaching by Mac, to get his QB to draw the D into the neutral zone. He obviously saw Miami make those mistakes against Florida, and they practiced it in preparing for this one tonight.

Somebody has to start preaching discipline to these guys. Because this is a terrible way to start the season.

Mimi hasn't been 0-2 since 1978 ... they finished that year 6-5.

There is too much talent on the Defensive side of the ball this season to waste it on mediocrity. We aren't going to attract top recruits if This is the New Miami.

We've basically got a scrimmage game against Bethune-Cookman next week. So, really, not even a game worth watching. Not good when you open with two consecutive losses.

It's early, but I can see North Carolina playing in Jax this year.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Mack Brown is a good coach and better recruiter. If he is energized he can be very good.
